NIMS Training Video

Why DVD Training?

  1. Each district is given two unprotected master DVD's of the NIMS training created just for your district.
  2. The contracting district may make as many copies as needed to cover the schools in their district.
  3. The DVD can be used in group or individual settings. It can be presented during staff meetings or provided to individuals.
  4. There is no on-going licensing fee. Once your district is under contract with Code Red Training Associates the DVD is yours to use for your district personnel only.
  5. Training materials are provided with the DVD and the contract may extend to onsite tabletop trainings and assistance with drills.

NIMS Training

The DVD video is in standard definition and runs under 34 minutes and can be easily shown during staff meetings. The video covers the four parts of the National Incident Management System: SEMS, Unified Command, EOC, and ICS.

Graphics are used to illustrate the chain of command and responsibilities of the various positions within NIMS.

Districts may not post the video on a website accessible to anyone outside the district licensed by the contract with Code Red Training Associates. Each district is responsible to control the distribution of the video for the use of their district personnel only.
